So much to do, and don't know where to begin?
Good planning is key to a successful wedding. I can promise you that not everything may go exactly to plan, but you can do your best to minimize any unforeseen problems that may arise prior or during your event by carefully planning as much ahead as possible.
To aid you on your mission you need lists. Now you may not be a list person and like to keep everything in your head but I can assure you by the time it comes to your special day, you will not want all the details stuck in your head. Besides if you have helpers and you are super busy it is so much easier to hand over a list then to talk them through your thoughts.
There are plenty of free resources online to help you create lists. I have listed a few below;
1. junebug weddings checklist
2. Botanical paperworks wedding lists
3. She Knows Wedding checklist
4. Whirlwind wedding timeline plan in 6 months
5. Martha Stewart Wedding checklist
6. Zola Wedding checklist
7. The knot ultimate wedding checklist
8. Little wedding guide
9. Magnet street complete wedding plan
10. Real Simple online ultimate wedding plan checklist
There are so many free resources out there to help you get started. What is very important however is that very quickly weddings can become more about the guests than the bride and groom. It is very important to stay focused on what the two of you want and sticking to it. More often than not wedding disasters occur because stress is caused by others expectations.
So start with a list, take your time and chip away a little bit at a time and you will soon be on your way to planning your special day. It is a celebration of love, so keep that at the core of your decisions. It can also be a lot of fun.
