The White Diet

You've just completed a teeth whitening session, and now you feel on top of the world smiling every chance you get. So most of us go on with life as per usual but what we don't realise is that some of the foods and beverages we consume post teeth whitening treatment can reverse the results quickly and may open our teeth enamel to staining more effectively.

Following the whitening procedure, our teeth become more porous, and therefore they absorb more of the pigment which they are exposed. What this means is that it is critical to avoid coloured foods that may stain your newly whitened teeth.

White Diet Beverages

  •  Cold water
  • Lemon water hot or cold
  • Coconut water
  • Barley cordial
  • Lemonade 
  • Soda or tonic water
  • Lemon barley warm
  • Mild
  • Colour free beverages
  • Vodka or Gin
  • White wine
  • Champagne

White Diet Breakfast

  • Banana and greek yoghurt
  • Natural yoghurt
  • Scrambled eggs on white toast no crust
  • Egg white omelette and cheese
  • Rice bubbles and milk
  • Oats or porridge

White Diet Lunch or Dinner

  • Smoked chicken no skin
  • Roast chicken no skin
  • Pasta with white sauce
  • Steamed white fish
  • Potatoes
  • White rice
  • Quiche with Feta cheese 
  • Cauliflower and white sauce
  • Fish and Chips

Dessert

  • Rice pudding
  • White Chocolate
  • Vanilla ice cream
  • Vanilla Yoghurt
  • Pavlova with cream or natural yoghurt
  • Banana split
  • Cheese cubes
  • Plain white crackers
