It’s nice to see somethign different come along when it comes to bringing music to people via the web. The Black Cab Sessions is just that. Increadible preformers have just one take, in the back of a cramped moving cab to sing and play their hearts out. The result? Moving preformances that while, striped down instrumentally, bears the soul of the music itself. Richard Thompson blew me away, Death Cab for Cutie (ironic name in this instance), The Walkmen, The National, Stricken City, Cool Kids, My Morning Jacket to name a few of the (so far) 73 preformances. Check the site out, though be warned, you might just be there a while.
