Your Face, Our Balls

I know, 3 posts in one day, but this was too good to pass up. It’s Faceball! Totally reminds me of working at AOL, or probably most somewhat fun office environments. Myself and other co-workers used to always throw stuff at each other, but these guys made a sport out if. Granted they are using beach balls, we just had giant exercise balls (seriously, they where about 2 1/2 feet tall) to throw at each other, well that and lots of other random crap you get from working at a large corporation. Nerf is good too. Anyway, check out Faceball.org and the videos of course.

    Wow. That almost makes me wish that I was working in the office again. We used to play beater ball when I used to go in on Saturdays. It’s like baseball, in that there is a hitter and a pitcher, but we did not have a bat at first, so we created a beater out of an old printing paper box. Eventually, we did bring in a bat. remember those Pizza Hut bats that you brought home B? That what we used. You got extra points for hitting the exit sign or getting the ball to go down the hallway. We never kept score though.

    Ya, I sometimes miss working in the office, but not enough to go back. Benefits are nice, but working for myself is better, my own hours, leave when I want, I just use Instant Messenger to talk to people. Hey Eric, you should get AIM and talk to me during the day, then you’ll get even less done.
