the kings are back

Kings of Leon new album, just released today “Because of the Times” has to be their best so far. musically it really stands out as a performer their other albums just didn’t hit. as i’ve only on my second listen as of right now it hasn’t fully sunk in, but as it gets mixed in with my constant play of Modest Mouse’s “We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank” which hasn’t left my ipod/cd/computer since i got it from itunes, this will put a big dent in Mouse’s play. i’m sure KOL will be sporting most of this new album on their tour this summer, which of course includes Bonnaroo a repeat from their 2004 performance.
Anyway, lyrics are top notch, the band rocks, but the album goes from top to bottom in tempos and moods. might be one of my top for this summer for sure.
